Rylee, Claire and Gloria Dear Friends and Family: We had a great Thanksgiving weekend. It was diverse both in food and in culture. Shanna and her mom cooked up various dishes and some great pies. Wayne prepared the turkey and the potatoes. We had some international dishes as well. We had people stop by from Peru, the Philippines, Mexico, and Vietnam. Some celebrated Thanksgiving for their first time as only the USA and Canada celebrate the holiday. We did not get to watch football, but we were able to spend some quality time, eating, singing and sharing with one another what God is doing in our lives. We were able to give a Vietnamese Bible and some tracts to our neigbors thanks to some resources from our past ministry experience with the Hatfields at Campus Baptist in Ames, IA. We are looking forward to more opportunities with them.
Family Update
RYLEE continues to grow spiritually. He loves to read his Bible before bedtime and has learned the books of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. He is praying that our friends and neighbors will come to see him in the Children's Christmas program at church next week. GLORIA continues to amaze us with her fine motor skills. She writes her letters very clearly and precisely and is becoming quite prolific with her drawings and art projects. She has also learned all the books of the Old Testament and has begun working on the New Testament. CLAIRE recently got a new bike and she loves riding and racing her sister around the park. She continues to be excited about everything from doing "school", to going to church, to greeting her daddy coming home from work. We are so thankful for the blessing of our children! Thank you for your continued faithful prayers and support: Love in Christ, Wayne, Shanna, Rylee, Gloria and Claire Dale Church Planting in Phoenix, AZ Prayer: Jack- heard the Gospel but struggles with undertanding the gift aspect. Ronnie and Lee- our Vietnamese neighbors Salvation Freyd and Lorita- Iran and Iraq couple who we would like to give Jesus video Economic situation of many in the church, lost jobs Spiritual growth of church members Development of qualified leaders Loss of some personal ministry support Calling of new pastor at our sending church

Church news:
Earlier in November we had a missions team from Bible Baptist in Newark, OH. Pastor Paul and Debbie Reimer and another couple came to visit in order to encourage the people and show their love in a tangible way. Pastor Paul spoke for a Hispanic Pastors Fellowship on the subject of counseling The Goldmans served by caring for the young people during the meetings. Then each couple also participated in the Sunday services. During the week they helped paint the church inside and steam clean chairs. Outside they helped remove a palm tree that was blocking the building. God providentially sent a tree trimmer and we were able to utilize his unique skills. Here are some before and after pictures so you can see the changes. The people are grateful and excited about what is taking place. Without the help of faithful supporters and churches this would not be possible. Remember, "Together we can achieve more!" We truly thank God for your participation in this ministry. Last month we hosted an activity for both adults and children to learn more about the meaning of Thanksgiving. Our desire was to teach people about God's sovereignty in the Thanksgiving celebration, teach hispanics the cultural background of the holiday, develop unity among the people, and challenge people to receive Christ. We had themed crafts, historical trivia and handouts and a lesson about how we are pilgrims in this world.
