Dear Friends and Family,
Hebrews 11:3
This month we had the privilege to have Liz Perrault, with us on weekends. She is from
NJ and has been receiving training at Luke Air Force Base. She is training to someday
fly planes as a missionary. This month we have had a variety of ministry opportunities. We invited a neighbor woman over for lunch. We first met her when she was walking her dog in
the neighborhood. This was the first opportunity to talk with her because she works nights and often sleeps in the day. We also were able to connect our former neighbors (from the Middle East) with a Christian family from the Middle East who attend another church across the Valley. We hope they will be able to share with them the Gospel in their own language.
We had a Spanish fellowship at the home of a family from church and it was well
attended. Praise the Lord that Pastor Alberto's health is doing better and he is doing a great job with getting many of the people involved.
We thank God for many friends and supporters who sent cards celebrating Claire's 4th birthday. She wanted a live pet but with our busy schedules, an animated version was the appropriate substitute.
We were gone two weekends from our bilingual ministry and were filling in for the Benners in our former English ministry in Surprise. The church plant needs prayer as there is uncertainty over its present location. We enjoyed being able to visit with people with whom we ministered, and see that they are still faithful and serving.
We served over the Memorial day weekend teaching 6 sessions for kids during a family retreat at an Asian church. The kids enjoyed getting out of Phoenix for a weekend and caught some snails and lizards at the Asian Church Retreat. Three lizards came back for a few days and then Rylee and Gloria released them in our back yard. It is a blessing to be able to see our children thrive in various environments. They are a great asset and give us a platform to share with others about spiritual issues.
Please continue to pray for our Vietnamese neighbors Ronnie and Lee. We have been able to help them with some paperwork for trying to get visas for her parents in Vietnam. Pray that we would have multiple opportunities to share Christ with them. Their understanding of both English and the Gospel is limited. We were able to give
them a Bible that we got from our days at Campus in Ames, IA.
Thank you for your faithful support,
Wayne, Shanna, Rylee, Gloria, and Claire Dale
