Dear Family and Friends Ecc 12:13."Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." The psalmist states that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. We want wisdom but how well do we fear the Lord? Our desire is to grow in wisdom and fear God as we keep His commands. Thank you for your prayers and monthly support. Ministry Last month We took part in our first all Spanish funeral. The woman could not attend church anymore, but her daughter and family do attend at Faith. We had an opportunity to be a blessing to her family and friends, and show God's love to many of her unsaved relatives. Since she was a believer, we were able to communicate to them of the promise of a home in heaven. The church family prepared meals for the family and served about 60 of the immediate family after the funeral. Since then, one of the other family members have been attending because of the love shown toward his mother and the family. Another joy this month was that one of Wayne's coworkers accepted Jesus as his Savior. Wayne was helping Greg sell his car and had invited him to come to an evening service because he works every day in the daytime. Lately he had been reading his Bible and has had questions. When Wayne talked to him later in the week, he was ready and received Christ as his Savior. Shanna has been scheduling students from her piano lessons to play during the evening service. We are trying to organize and delegate responsibilities to the people. The challenges of a Hispanic ministry include language, immigration, and lack of resources. Please continue to pray for us for wisdom in preparing for the future and helping others use their ministry gifts in the local church. Wayne was elected to help out as director of program for the state camp. We are praying that this year the camp will take place on its own property. Please pray for the small fellowship of churches in Arizona. Some of the churches are without pastors and direction. Pray for your pastor and think about where your church will be in 5 years if the Lord should tarry. Family This month, Shanna's older brother Jeff and his wife came to visit from Nashville, Tennessee. It was good for the kids to spend time with them. We took them to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. The Canyon continues to be an impressive vista and impresses upon us the grandeur of God. Rylee finished up the community soccer league and even scored a goal in his last game. He is learning the benefits of multiplication and division and the fact that school is getting harder. Gloria asked to play T-Ball so she just started practices. She enjoys learning the fundamentals of the game and the lesson of prayer. She prayed that practices would not be on Wednesday for about 2 months and we received a call that practices had been moved from Wednesday to Tuesday because many parents could not attend. Now we have heard her thank and praise God for moving the practice times. Faith is reinforced when we remember to pray for the big and the small items in our lives. Claire is in the process of trying to learn to read. She is also enjoying having a "younger sibling" in the home. Catalina, our neighbor's 3 year old has been spending her days with us learning English, her colors and enjoying the dynamics of our family. Catalina also came to kid's Bible club for the first time and we hope she will be able to come more often. Shanna has been influential in helping her become less shy and learn more about the Bible. Thank you for your prayers and continued support. In Christ, Wayne, Shanna, Rylee, Gloria, & Claire Dale
